The Calm Scholarship is named in honor of my father, Carlyle Rayford Wheeler, who was a beloved minister, educator, and mentor. This scholarship seeks to recognize and empower students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a passion for making a difference in the field of education. Through this scholarship, we aim to inspire the next generation of educators who embody my father’s commitment to learning, compassion, and excellence, demonstrating calmness in the face of adversity.
The Rain Scholarship
The Rain Scholarship is named after my esteemed mother, Valarie Patricia Wheeler, an exceptional educator both in and out of the classroom. She is known for her passion for helping others through unwavering support and nonjudgmental guidance. This scholarship is awarded to college students who demonstrate exceptional perseverance in overcoming challenges, reflecting my mother’s determination to keep going and never give up.
The Weathering Minds Scholarship
The Weathering Minds Scholarship supports graduate students pursuing studies in mental health or related fields. Through this scholarship, the foundation aims to empower resilient and compassionate future professionals dedicated to serving individuals with expertise and care.
